Chaos Karts in Manchester is not a conventional kart circuit and does not compare to one. There is no fixed layout, no lap record and no tarmac. Electric karts run inside a projection-mapped hall, with tracks and themed worlds beamed onto the floor and walls, and augmented reality weapons and power-ups you use against the other drivers.

Cumbria Kart Racing Club runs the Rowrah Kart Track, a 1,030-metre outdoor circuit in West Cumbria between Frizington and Lamplugh, with a shorter layout available for novices.
Blackpool, Blackpool
Formulakart is an outdoor hire-kart circuit on Queen's Promenade at North Shore, Blackpool, about a mile north of the Tower. The 750-metre concrete track sits in a bowl-shaped arena, averages 9 metres across and is edged with tyre barriers.
Liverpool, Liverpool
Gravity MAX Liverpool is a large indoor entertainment venue at Chavasse Park in the Liverpool ONE shopping district, and its electric kart track runs over two levels of the building. The track opened in 2023 and, according to its builder, is about 210 metres long with up to 12 karts per session.

Prestige Go Karting is an indoor kart track at Holker Mill on Holker Street, off Burnley Road in Colne, east Lancashire. The same site has a laser battle arena.
Liverpool, Liverpool
TeamSport Liverpool is on Sefton Street in Liverpool. It has two indoor circuits: a 475-metre multi-level main track with 10 corners and a separate 275-metre Starter track, and members can race a 725-metre International layout that joins the two.

Three Sisters is a multi-use outdoor motorsport circuit on Three Sisters Road at Ashton-in-Makerfield, near Wigan. Alongside karting it hosts car and motorcycle track days, drift events and driver training.
Maryport, Cumberland
West Coast Karting is an indoor kart centre on the Solway Trading Estate in Maryport, on the west Cumbrian coast. It has been running since 1992 and describes its track as the longest indoor karting track in north-west England.

The youngest age accepted anywhere in North West is 7 , at Cumbria Kart Racing Club. Height matters as much as age — most circuits also set a minimum of 130cm or 140cm, and a child who meets the age but not the height will be turned away at the gate. Each listing shows both.
