About TeamSport Go Karting Newcastle
TeamSport Newcastle is an indoor electric karting venue at Armstrong Works on Scotswood Road, about two miles west of the city centre. It has two tracks: a 500-metre multi-level main circuit with 12 corners and a 200-metre starter track.
The starter track makes it one of only two TeamSport sites to take children aged 4 to 7, through its Mini Racers sessions, and it also hosts the game-style Combat Karts format for 13 and over. The main circuit uses Sodi RSX2 karts for adults and Biz EcoVolt karts for 8 to 12-year-olds.
Standard arrive-and-drive, Grand Prix and 50-lap races run on the main circuit, and the venue takes parties, stag and hen groups and corporate events. Duckpin bowling, a bar and free parking are on site.
Top speed of 45mph is the operator's published figure, not an independent measurement.
Which circuit can they drive?
Different circuits here take different ages, so the headline minimum isn't the whole story.
