About TeamSport Go Karting Brighton

Despite the Brighton name, this TeamSport venue is on a business park on Chartwell Road in Lancing, west of the city. It is an indoor circuit of roughly 450 metres spread over more than one level, with 12 corners, a banked flyover and an enclosed tunnel section.

The track runs only electric karts: Biz EcoVolt GT karts for drivers aged 13 and over and Biz Eco Volt Junior karts for 8 to 12-year-olds. A typical lap takes around 34 seconds.

Individual races, children's birthday parties and corporate events are offered. There is a bar and kitchen for spectators, and wheelchair users have a ground-floor viewing area.

Top speed of 45mph is the operator's published figure, not an independent measurement.

The karts

  • Biz EcoVolt GT (adult)
  • Biz Eco Volt Junior
One thing we're checking: Fully electric fleet. Adult karts are Biz EcoVolt GT with a boost button; juniors use the Biz Eco Volt Junior. Adult karts are quoted at up to 45 mph.
