About TeamSport Go Karting Birmingham

TeamSport's Birmingham track is at Park Lane Industrial Estate in Oldbury, in Sandwell on the western edge of the city. At around 1,000 metres with 13 corners it is a long indoor circuit, laid out over more than one level with a lengthy elevated section; the operator describes it as the longest indoor karting track in the Midlands.

All karts are electric Biz EcoVolt models, with a junior version for 8 to 12-year-olds and GT karts with a boost button from age 13.

Alongside karting the site has a Laser Combat arena for ages 6 and up, pool tables and arcade machines. It takes bookings for birthdays, stag and hen groups and corporate days; the lower level is wheelchair accessible but the upper level and bar are not.

Top speed of 45mph is the operator's published figure, not an independent measurement.

The karts

  • Biz EcoVolt GT (adult)
  • Biz Eco Volt Junior
One thing we're checking: Fully electric fleet. Adult karts are Biz EcoVolt GT with a boost button; juniors use the Biz Eco Volt Junior. Adult karts are quoted at up to 45 mph.
