What is the minimum age to take part in karting?
Younger children can drive electric Mini F1/Cub Karts from age 4, while petrol karts are open to those aged 8 and over, subject to a minimum height requirement.
Does bad weather affect my session?
Since the karting circuit is entirely indoors, sessions are unaffected by outside weather conditions.
What should I wear or bring?
Drivers must wear gloves and a balaclava to use the karts. You may bring your own full-face helmet as long as it's in good condition, otherwise equipment is provided.
How long should I expect to be at the venue?
Duration depends on the package chosen - for example, the GP Race Experience requires at least an hour on site and the Super GP Race Experience around 80 minutes. You're also asked to arrive at least 30 minutes before your booked session.
Is there a minimum number of people needed to book?
There's no strict minimum stated for general sessions, though the Time Attack format is aimed at smaller groups, while party packages are designed for groups of up to 10 children.
Can family and friends watch while I race?
Yes, there's a viewing gallery for spectators along with a small cafe area where they can get drinks and snacks while watching.
Do I need to book before turning up?
Yes, every session must be reserved and confirmed ahead of your visit, and a partial payment is required to secure the booking.
Do children need a signed consent form?
Yes, for participants under 16, a parent or guardian must complete and sign a consent form in advance, which can be downloaded from the website.
