Questions people ask

What are the minimum age and height requirements?

You need to be at least 10 years old and roughly 4ft8in (142cm) tall for a standard Arrive & Drive session. Endurance race events raise the minimum age to 16, while owner-drivers bringing their own kart only need to be 8 or older.

Is there a weight limit for drivers?

Yes, the circuit enforces an 18 stone maximum weight limit for safety and insurance reasons. This applies to all drivers regardless of session type.

What happens if the weather is bad?

G-Force operates as an all-weather venue, so sessions still go ahead in the rain. Wet-weather kit is included in your booking price, so you don't need to bring your own waterproofs.

What should I wear or bring?

Wear closed, sensible footwear like trainers, as sandals and heels aren't permitted. Overalls and helmets are provided free of charge, but you should bring your own gloves with good palm grip, or buy a pair on site for £3.

How long do the sessions last?

Arrive & Drive options run for 10, 20 or 30 minutes depending on price paid. The Mini Endurance format lasts a full hour with driver changes, and the Iron Man Endurance event is 40 minutes of continuous racing.

Is there a minimum group size for bookings?

The Mini Endurance event requires a minimum of 10 drivers, up to a maximum of 16. Arrive & Drive sessions instead have a cap of six karts running at once, though no minimum is stated for that format.

Can spectators come along to watch?

While there's no specific spectator charge mentioned, the site has an area serving hot and cold drinks and light snacks where visitors can relax while others race.

Can I bring my own kart to race?

Owner-drivers are welcome as long as they use four-stroke karts, since two-stroke and gearbox karts aren't permitted. Drivers must be at least 8 years old, and management may split sessions by skill level if there's a wide range of experience on track.
