Planning your visit
Questions people ask
How old do you have to be to go karting here?
The youngest drivers can start on the dedicated Cadet Raceway from age 4, provided they meet the height requirement for that track. The main full-size circuit is reserved for drivers aged 9 and up who also clear the taller minimum height set for those karts.
Is there a height restriction?
Yes, height limits apply alongside age limits. Younger children need to reach roughly 120cm for the Cadet Raceway, while drivers wanting to use the main GP track must stand at least 135cm tall.
What happens if it's raining on the day of my session?
Because the entire venue is indoors, weather has no impact on whether sessions go ahead. You can expect your booking to run as planned whatever the forecast.
What should I wear for my race?
Comfortable clothing paired with trainers or other closed-toe flat shoes is recommended, and open footwear like sandals isn't allowed on track. You'll also need a balaclava and gloves, which can be brought from home or bought at reception on the day.
How long does a typical visit take?
A single race lasts around 10 to 15 minutes of actual track time depending on the session type, but you should allow extra time before this for signing in, kitting up and the safety briefing. Exclusive party or event bookings run for set blocks of 30 or 60 minutes of track time.
Is there a minimum number of people needed to book?
Open drive sessions can be booked by a single driver, but larger event formats have set minimums, such as around a dozen drivers for Grand Prix-style races and roughly six for endurance formats. Corporate packages also require a minimum group size before they can be arranged.
Can friends and family watch without racing?
Yes, there's a raised viewing gallery overlooking the track so non-racing guests can watch the action in comfort. This makes it easy to bring along spectators for parties, corporate days or family visits even if not everyone wants to drive.
