About ELK Motorsport

ELK Motorsport runs an outdoor kart circuit on Drove Lane at Winthorpe, on the edge of Newark in Nottinghamshire. The circuit is 1,200m long.

Hire karts are twin-engined BIZ Evo 2 chassis with Honda GX engines and hydraulic brakes, and every session is timed with results emailed afterwards. The operator sets a minimum age of 17, so this is a venue for adults rather than families with children.

All sessions are booked in advance, from short practice runs to longer group races, and groups of 20 or more can have the track to themselves. The circuit is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
