About Eddie Irvine Sports

Eddie Irvine Sports is an indoor karting centre on Balloo Road in Bangor, County Down, about 15 minutes from Belfast. It has been open since 2003 and is owned by former Formula 1 driver Eddie Irvine.

Drivers aged 8 and over who are at least 130cm tall can book timed sessions, while sprint, grand prix, endurance and F1-style races are for over-16s. A separate Bambino track takes children aged 4–7, and a coaching academy runs for ages 8–16.

The centre also has indoor football, padel, simulators and a roller disco, and can supply a hand-controlled kart on request.

Which circuit can they drive?

Different circuits here take different ages, so the headline minimum isn't the whole story.

Main indoor circuit Time Attack sessions and parties are for ages 8+ with a minimum height of 130cm. Sprint, Grand Prix, endurance and F1 packages are for over-16s. Hand-controlled karts can be provided on request.
