Ancaster Leisure Karting and Activity Venue: go karting in Grantham

About Ancaster Leisure Karting and Activity Venue

Ancaster Leisure is an outdoor multi-activity site at Wood Lodge near Ancaster, north-east of Grantham, where karting sits alongside paintball, airsoft, archery and laser tag. Its outdoor track can be run as a 1,200m International circuit, a 700m Brooklands layout or a 600m Club circuit, with a separate junior circuit and a small electric track for young children.

Children aged 4 to 8 can drive electric karts, cadets aged 8 to 15 have their own petrol sessions, and mixed practice sessions take drivers from 10 (130cm minimum). Adult group formats such as Grand Prix, Club Challenge and team endurance are for over-16s and use Sodikart 270cc karts.

The venue also runs Sunday championships, Thursday evening racing and an academy for regular drivers, with a £50 annual membership giving discounts. There is a clubhouse and café on site.

Top speed of 50mph is the operator's published figure, not an independent measurement.
