About the track
An indoor circuit in east Bristol running Sodi GT5 karts, with a double-level layout for drivers tall enough to use it. Being under cover, it runs the same in February as in July — the obvious pick locally if you don't want a session called off for weather.
It handles a wider age range than most: electric Whizz Karts for four to eight-year-olds, junior karts from eight at 130cm, adult karts from fourteen, and the full double-level track from 152cm. Worth checking which your group actually qualifies for before booking, since the thresholds stack.
Arrive 45 minutes early — that's for check-in and the safety briefing, and it's longer than most venues ask for. Balaclava and gloves are compulsory and cost £5 to hire if you don't bring your own.

How old do you have to be to go karting here?
Children can race from 8 in the junior karts provided they're at least 130cm. Adult karts start at 14, and the full double-level track needs 152cm. Younger children from 4 can use the electric Whizz Karts.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Nothing — the circuit is indoors, so rain and wind make no difference to your booking.
What should I wear for a session?
Comfortable clothes that sit under a race suit, and flat enclosed shoes — no sandals, heels or flip-flops. Tie long hair back and remove jewellery and scarves. A balaclava and gloves are required and can be hired for £5.
How early should I arrive?
Forty-five minutes before your track time, for check-in and the safety briefing. That's more notice than many venues ask for, so build it into your plans.
Is there a weight or height limit?
No hard cut-off, but the karts are most comfortable up to around 18 stone and 6ft 4in. Staff can arrange a kart test beforehand if you're unsure.
Can family and friends watch?

Do I need a racing licence?
